Central University of Jammu has offically announced the notification for the post of  JRF (Junior Research Fellow).Candidates who fulfil the desired requirement for the post now have the opportunity.Candidates who are applying for the post must read all the instructions carefully before applying.

1. Name of the Temporary Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)- 02
2. Name of the Research Projects :  1. To Restraint or Regulate the Reproductive Health lssues of Human from Jammu and Kashmir Region.
                                                                2. Development and characterisation of TLS polymerase zeta subunit MAD2B/Rev7 targeted inhibitors as potential anticancer therapeutic agents using In-vitro and In-vivo approach.
3. Name of the Sponsoring Agency : Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR), Government of India.
4. Tenure of the Project : Around 2 Years
5. Tenure of the Assignment : 01 Year (Extendable up to the remaining tenure of the project based on the performance)
6. Job Description : To carry out the research work related to the projects.
7. Monthly Fellowship : Rs. 31,000 + HRA (as per the norms)
8. Essential Qualifications and experience : Master’s degree in Life Sciences/ Biosciences/ Biotechnology or other relevant subjects from a recognized University/ Institution with 55% Marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA. Final year/semester students will also be considered provided degree is completed joining.
9. Desirable Qualifications/Experiences : Students with Valid NET / GATE / JRF (CSIR / UGC/ DBT / ICMR) or any other equivalent examination will be given preference. Knowledge of human reproductive biology / cancer biology is required.The Candidates without NET/ GATE / JRF will get fellowship according to the ICMR rules.
10.  Accommodation : Bachelor accommodation in the Institute may be provided subject to availability.
11. Terms :The services of the selected candidate will be as per the ICMR guidelines.The project fellowship is a full-time position. The selected candidate shall not draw money from any other source.
