Project Details:

1. Project GAP-3147: Understanding Metabolic Reconfiguration in Lepidium latifolium for Insect Interaction during Climate Change in Ladakh.
2. Project GAP-3146: Decoding the Genetic Architecture of Picrorhiza kurrooa to Understand Specialized Metabolite Biosynthesis and Adaptation to Alpine Environments.

Position Details:

1. Project Associate-II (Position Code 01)

   • Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Botany/Biochemistry or equivalent with 2 years' research experience in relevant fields.
   • Desirable: Background in ecological interactions, particularly with insects, and demonstrated research experience in plant-insect interactions or related fields.
   • Monthly Emoluments: ₹35,000/- + HRA for NET/GATE qualified candidates, ₹28,000/- + HRA for others.
   • Upper Age Limit: 35 years.

2. Project Associate-II (Position Code 02)

   • Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Biochemistry/Botany or B.Tech. in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics or equivalent with 2 years' research experience.
   • Desirable: Strong expertise in genomics, molecular biology techniques, next-generation sequencing technologies, metabolomics techniques, and bioinformatics skills.
   • Monthly Emoluments: ₹35,000/- + HRA for NET/GATE qualified candidates, ₹28,000/- + HRA for others.
   • Upper Age Limit: 35 years.
