About the Project
The project, titled "Development of automated flexible UT array for inspection of curved vertical surfaces of bridge piers," aims to revolutionize inspection methodologies for critical infrastructure like bridges. Led by esteemed Project Investigators Dr. Surendra Beniwal and Dr. Sahil Kalra, the project focuses on wave-based concrete scanning, subsurface image processing, flexible array development, and automated data acquisition.
Position Details
- Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Area of Specialization: Mechanical Design; Systems, Control and Robotics; Control and Automation; Signal Processing
- Duration: Initially for one year, extendable based on performance or project duration
- Consolidated Salary: INR 37,000/- per month + applicable HRA
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- M.E./M.Tech/MSc or equivalent degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical disciplines with at least 70% aggregate marks or 7.0 CGPA.
- B.E./B.Tech in relevant disciplines with 70% aggregate marks or 7.0 CGPA from a reputed institute.
- Qualified in GATE, CSIR-UGC NET, or equivalent national-level exams.
Additional Qualifications
Candidates should also possess:
- Proficiency in programming languages like C/C++, Python, MATLAB.
- Knowledge of programmable circuit boards, data acquisition, and hardware interfaces.
