The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued an important notice regarding the selection of examination city for CTET 2023. The board has clarified that the examination city will be allotted on a first come first served basis only as per the availability of capacity in that particular city of examination. Therefore, the candidates are advised to complete their online application process and pay the fee as soon as possible to get their preferred choice of examination city.
The board has mentioned that the total capacity of a particular city will be available on the portal, and if the total capacity of a city is full during the application process or payment of examination fee or updation of transaction on the portal, the candidate will be given the option to select any other city or cancel the transaction. If the candidate cancels the transaction, the full fee will be refunded to their account as per the mode of payment, and the application will not be considered for this examination of CTET. It is essential to note that the request for a change of examination city will not be accepted in any case.
If the total capacity is full in a particular city while filling the online application, the candidate has no right to claim for the allotment of the examination center in that particular city, and the board will not be responsible for it. Therefore, the candidates are advised to complete their application process without waiting for the last date. It is crucial to keep these instructions in mind while applying for CTET 2023 to ensure the successful allotment of the preferred examination city.
