IGNOU Offers a Range of Academic Programmes through Online Mode from July 2023 Session!

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is proud to announce its diverse academic programmes, now available through the Online Mode for the July 2023 session.  Important Dates

The last date for the submission of applications for the July 2023 session is 31st July 2023. Ensure that you complete the application process well before the deadline to secure your spot in the programme of your choice.

Application Process

If you are a new applicant, follow these steps to register:

  1. Tick on the "NEW REGISTRATION" button in the applicant login area.
  2. Fill in the required registration details, including a username (8 to 16 characters) and an alphanumeric password (8 to 16 characters).
  3. After filling in the mandatory information, tick the "SUBMIT" button.
  4. Your username will be sent to you instantly via email and SMS. Remember to keep it safe for future logins.

For existing users:

  1. Tick on the "LOGIN" button and access your account using your saved username and password.

Before proceeding with the online form, ensure that you have the following scanned documents (in specified sizes) ready for upload:

  • Scanned Photograph (less than 100 KB)
  • Scanned Signature (less than 100 KB)
  • Scanned copy of relevant Educational Qualification (less than 200 KB)
  • Scanned Copy of Experience Certificate (if any) (less than 200 KB)
  • Scanned Copy of Category Certificate, if SC/ST/OBC (less than 200 KB)

Fee Payment

IGNOU offers multiple options for fee payment, making the process convenient for all applicants:

  • Credit Card (Master/Visa)
  • Debit Card (Master/Visa/Rupay)
  • Net Banking

Please note that the scanned documents must be taken from the originals. After uploading the documents, preview the form before moving forward and remember to save/print it for future reference.

Registration Fee and Refund Policy

Upon admission, a non-refundable registration fee will be charged along with the first semester/year's programme fee. However, if a student applies for cancellation of admission and a refund of fees, the refund will be processed as per the University's policy, as follows:

  • Before confirmation of admission: Full programme fee paid shall be refunded.
  • Within 15 days of confirmation of admission: Programme fee paid shall be refunded after deduction of Rs. 500/-
  • Within 16-90 days of confirmation of admission: Programme fee paid shall be refunded after deduction of Rs. 1000/-
  • After 90 days of confirmation of admission: No refund shall be allowed.
