IIM CAP-2024 Application Form

Before filling out the CAP-2024 application form, it is crucial to carefully read and understand the following instructions. Please note that no further corrections or changes to the data submitted in the CAP-2024 application form will be entertained after submission. Therefore, it is imperative to exercise caution and diligence during the application process.

Document Upload Guidelines:

1. File Size and Formats:

   • All documents must be uploaded with a maximum size of 1.5 MB.
   • Acceptable file formats include .jpg, .jpeg, .png, and .pdf.
   • If multiple documents are to be uploaded in a specific field, consolidate them into a single file for upload.

2. Documents Required:

   • Photograph (same as uploaded in the CAT Application Form)
   • Signature (same as used in the CAT Application Form)
   • Photo Identity Card Document
   • CAT 2023 Score Card
   • 10th & 12th Marksheet with a pass certificate
   • Graduation-related certificates
   • Work Experience certificates and Relieving Letter (if applicable)

Academic Qualification Guidelines:

SSC/HSC/Equivalent/Diploma:

• Calculate the overall percentage by considering the total marks of all subjects.
• Use the formula provided to round off the aggregate percentage accurately.

Bachelor/Master Degree:

• The aggregate percentage for graduates and postgraduates will be treated as final.
• Obtain a certificate for conversion if your institute provides only letter grades or CGPA.
• For multiple degrees, provide details for each, with the primary UG degree considered for merit calculations.

Other Professional Degree:

• Select the professional degree obtained from the list (e.g., CA, ICWA, CS).
• If no Bachelor's Degree, completion of one of the professional degrees is mandatory.

Work Experience:

• Only full-time remunerative experience after graduation is considered.
• Part-time/project/internship experiences are not to be entered.
• Certificates for past work experiences are required, and salary certificates are mandatory for those in the unorganized sector.

Category Certificate:

• Use an existing valid certificate (NC-OBC/SC/ST/EWS/DAP), or download the format from the CAP website.
• Ensure the validity of EWS certificates for CAP-2024 registration and admission.

Correction Request:

• For changes in data submitted in CAT-2023, particularly for 10th or 12th/HSC/Diploma, use the appropriate section in the CAP-2024 portal.
• For Bachelor’s/Master’s/Professional Qualifications, provide data afresh in the CAP-2024 application form.
