IIT Jammu Non-Teaching Positions: Online Application System

IIT jammu has declared the offical notification for Non-Teaching Positions. IIT application process has been streamlined to ensure efficiency and accuracy in the recruitment process. Please take note of the following important information:

Application Process:

  1. Online Submission Only: Our application system for Non-Teaching Positions is entirely online. Applications submitted through the IIT Jammu online portal, available at apply.iitjammu.ac.in, shall be considered. We do not accept applications through other means.

  3. Corrigendum - Last Date Extension: The last date for online submission of application forms for the positions of Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Electrical) has been extended to 25.01.2024 (Thursday) up to 05:00 p.m.

IIT Jammu Non-Teaching Positions: Online Application System

General Instructions

Step 1: Review and Registration

Begin your application process by thoroughly reading the detailed advertisement, paying close attention to any important announcements. Afterward, visit the Application Portal using the provided link and navigate to the "Non-Teaching Positions" tab. Click on the "Login/Apply" button to initiate the application.

For fresh applicants, registration is mandatory. Use a valid personal email address during registration, as it cannot be changed later. Avoid using institute/organization email IDs.

Step 2: Application Submission

Once registered, activate your login and complete the required information on the application portal. Attach the following documents in separate PDF files:

  •     A clear JPEG image of yourself
  •     A clear JPEG image of your signature
  •     Clear copies of certificates for all educational qualifications, starting from the secondary examination level
  •     Pay Certificate/PaySlip/ITR/SalarySlip (monthwise/yearwise)
  •     Category Certificate (if applicable)
  •     Person with Disability (PwD) certificate (if applicable)
  •     Medically Unfit certificate (if applicable)
  •     Experience Certificate (if applicable)
  •     Any additional information deemed necessary
  • Ensure each attachment file is not more than 1 MB and use the PDF file format. Details should be clearly visible on all attachments. Non-compliance with these instructions may lead to rejection of the application.

Note:

  •     Provide details of secondary and senior secondary examinations for Non-Teaching positions as per the detailed advertisement.
  •     Save documents in portrait mode whenever possible.
  •     Inform referees about the application submission at IIT Jammu.
  •     Avoid keeping the session idle for more than 15 minutes and save information regularly.
  •     Submit a fresh application for each round/advertisement.
  •     Only online application information will be considered; email attachments will not be accepted.
  •     Pay the application fee online through the provided portal link.

Step 3: Application Submission Confirmation

After submitting the required details, a PDF profile containing all the provided information will be generated. This PDF will have a watermark indicating it's for application at IIT Jammu. Save the PDF profile for your reference and quote the application number in all communications. Once submitted, the application cannot be edited, so review it carefully.

Step 4: Shortlisting and Notification

Shortlisted candidates will be notified via the email provided during the application process.

Additional Notes:

    All applications will be removed from the online portal two months after processing.
