Position Available: Project Associate - I (8 Positions) & Scientific Administrative Assistant (1 Position)

Applications are invited for 08 Positions of Project Associate - I and 01 Position of Scientific Adm. Assistant in the DBT, Govt. of India funded research project, University of Jammu, Jammu.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Project Associate-I (8 Positions): Master’s Degree in Botany/Plant Sciences/Biotechnology/Agriculture Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Zoology/Environmental Sciences or equivalent from a recognized University.

  Desirable Qualifications: Experience in Plant Biotechnology/Genetic Transformation, knowledge in ecology/taxonomic aspects, instrumentation, environmental analysis, microbial techniques, and publications in reputed journals.

  Upper Age Limit: 35 years

  Monthly Emoluments:

  • Rs. 31,000/-pm + 16% HRA for candidates selected through National Eligibility Tests or Central Govt. conducted Examinations.
  • Rs. 25,000/-pm + 16% HRA for others.

• Scientific Administrative Assistant (1 Position): Graduate degree in any discipline.

  Desirable Qualifications: Experience in handling scientific equipment, data handling, documentation, and instrumentation.

  Upper Age Limit: 50 years

  Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 18,000/-pm + 16% HRA

• The positions are temporary and co-terminus with the project.

• Eligible candidates will be notified of the interview date via email/mobile.
