Release of Admit Card for Mains Examination (Phase 2) - Examiner of Patents and Designs

The National Testing Agency (NTA) successfully conducted the Preliminary Exam (Phase 1) for the esteemed position of Examiner of Patents and Designs against 553 vacancies under the DR quota in the Patent Office. This Preliminary Exam took place on 21 December 2023, witnessing the participation of approximately 89,657 candidates across 260 Centres in 103 cities nationwide.

We are pleased to inform all eligible candidates that the results for the Preliminary Exam have been officially declared on 10 January 2024. The results are available on the official website of NTA: https://exams.nta.ac.in/DPIIT/.

Mains Examination (Phase 2) Details: The eligible candidates for the Mains Examination (Paper I and Paper II) i.e., Phase 2 for the Post of Examiner of Patents and Designs are now required to gear up for the next phase. The examination will be held at designated Centres located in various cities throughout the country.

The City of the examination and the Date of the examination were communicated to all candidates via a Public Notice dated 15 January 2024.

Admit Card Release: The much-awaited Admit Cards for the Mains Examination (Paper I and Paper II) i.e., Phase 2 for the Post of Examiner of Patents and Designs will be available for download starting from 20 January 2024 (Saturday). Candidates can access their Admit Cards on the official website: https://exams.nta.ac.in/DPIIT/.

Downloading Instructions: Candidates are required to download their Admit Cards using their Application Number and Date of Birth. Upon download, it is imperative to carefully read and understand the instructions contained therein as well as those provided in the Information Bulletin.

Exam Day Instructions: We advise all candidates to thoroughly read the Subject-Specific Instructions and other relevant guidelines mentioned in the Question paper. Strict adherence to these instructions is essential for a smooth and fair conduct of the examination.
