JKBOPEE Declare Merit List of B.E / B.Tech 2023 For Government & Private Colleges

Updated Rank-wise Provisional Merit List and Counselling Schedule for B.E. / B. Tech. Engineering Courses-2023 in J&K

In compliance with the official notifications and notices issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE), the Provisional Merit List of eligible candidates for admission to B.E. / B. Tech. Courses-2023 in various Government and Private Institutions of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has been updated. The new merit list has been prepared based on the candidates' merits and objections received, forming Annexure-A to Notification No. 049-BOPEE of 2023, dated 01-08-2023.

Candidates who applied for admission to the mentioned courses are hereby informed about the updated rank-wise merit list. The list is available for review on the official website of the J&K BOPEE (www.jkbopee.gov.in).

Counselling Schedule:

The Board will conduct the Physical Round of Counselling for B.E. / B. Tech. Engineering Courses-2023 simultaneously through Video Conferencing at BOPEE Offices in Jammu and Srinagar. The counselling sessions will be held as per the following schedule:

1. Thursday, 03-08-2023: Rank 001 to Rank 400
2. Friday, 04-08-2023: Rank 401 to Rank 900
3. Saturday, 05-08-2023: Rank 901 to Rank 1472

Important Instructions for Counselling:

1. Candidates must bring the following documents on their allotted counselling date(s). Failure to produce these documents will result in disqualification from the counselling process: a) 12th Class Marks Card. b) Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K/Ladakh. c) Category Certificate, including TFW, if applicable. d) Date of Birth Certificate (Issued by J&K Board of School Education / Centre Board / other Boards)

2. Candidates should physically report at the BOPEE offices in Jammu or Srinagar for registration, attendance, and fulfillment of other formalities between 08:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on the day/date of their counselling.

3. If a candidate misses their counselling on the designated date, they will be allowed to participate in the next day's counselling. However, they cannot claim a seat that was available on their original counselling date but has already been allotted to another candidate in the order of merit list.

4. Candidates who fail to join the allotted college after the counselling shall not be eligible to participate in subsequent rounds of counselling or upgradation rounds.

5. The Seat Matrix will be uploaded separately before the date of counselling.

6. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website of the J&K BOPEE (www.jkbopee.gov.in) for updates about the counselling process and the daily based Seat Matrix.

7. If a candidate is unable to attend counselling physically due to a valid reason, they can authorize a family member (through Authority Letter on prescribed format available at BOPEE offices) with a valid ID proof to participate on their behalf at the BOPEE offices in Jammu or Srinagar on the designated counselling date as per their Rank.

8. The Board reserves the right to notify any changes that may become imperative due to technical difficulties or reasons beyond its control.

Regarding Bhargava College of Engineering & Technology, Samba:

The Board has received a letter from the Chairman of Bhargava College of Engineering & Technology, Samba, stating the discontinuation of fresh admissions for the session 2023-24. The matter has been taken up by the Board with the Higher Education Department, Government of J&K, and further directions will be conveyed once received.
