Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Qualification: A postgraduate degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology, or Microbiology from a recognized Indian university. Additionally, candidates should have at least five years of experience in the manufacture or testing of from an approved laboratory or in the enforcement of the provisions of the Cosmetics Act, 1956.
- Age: Candidates must be born not later than January 1, 2005, and not earlier than January 1, 1983 (for Open Merit), and January 1, 1980 (for Schedule Caste).
Domicile Requirement
Applicants must be domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and possess a valid Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
Application Process
- Candidates are required to update their One-Time Registration before filling out the application form.
- The application form and instructions for filling it out will be available on the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) website from October 12, 2023.
- The last date for submitting the online application form, along with the requisite fee (online mode only), is October 31, 2023.
- The tentative date of examination is in the first week of December 2023.
Important Instructions
- Candidates are advised to read the instructions and eligibility conditions carefully before filling out the online application form.
- All mandatory prescribed documents must be uploaded with the online application form.
- No hard copy of the application form or documents is required to be submitted to the Commission at the time of filling out the online application.
- Candidates can edit certain fields in their online application from November 1 to November 3, 2023 (up to 11:59 PM).
Selection Process
The selection process will be in accordance with Rule 43(ii) of the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 2021, as amended up to date.
