Provisional Answer Key Released for Assistant Scientific Officer (Ballistics) Written Examination

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has successfully conducted the Written Examination for the post of Assistant Scientific Officer (Ballistics), Home Department, UT Cadre on the 8th of January, 2024. This examination was advertised under Item No. 47, in accordance with Advertisement Notification No. 02 of 2022.

Candidates who appeared for this crucial examination can now access the Provisional Answer Key for the question paper Series A, B, C, and D. This Answer Key, provided at Annexure "A," serves as an essential reference point for candidates to gauge their performance in the examination.

For candidates who wish to raise objections or present representations against any answers provided in the Provisional Answer Key, a prescribed format/proforma (Annexure "B") has been made available. To support their objections, candidates are required to submit hard copies of documentary proof or evidence validating their claims. Additionally, a fee of Rs. 200/- per question, in the form of a demand draft favoring the Accounts Officer, J&K Services Selection Board, needs to be included. This fee is refundable in cases where the objection is deemed genuine or correct.

It's important to note that if objections raised by candidates are found to be valid upon scrutiny, the Answer Key will be revised for the benefit of all candidates. However, individual communication regarding the acceptance or rejection of objections will not be provided.

The process for submitting objections or representations is strictly offline and should be undertaken at the designated offices of JKSSB. These offices are located at CPO Chowk, Panjtirthi, Jammu, and JKSSB, Zamzam Building, Rambagh, Srinagar. Candidates have a window of three working days, commencing from the 9th of January 2024, during office hours, to submit their objections or representations.

Please be informed that the Board will not entertain any objections or representations beyond the specified period or through any other mode of submission.
