About NBEMS: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is a distinguished organization established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, with the mandate to conduct high-standard Post-Graduate Examinations in the field of Modern Medicine and allied specialties at the National level.

Position: Executive Director (on deputation)

No. of Vacancies: 01 (one post)

Location: New Delhi, India

Key Details:

• Scale of Pay: ₹1,44,200- ₹2,18,200 (Level -14 of Pay Matrix) plus NPA
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 55 years as on the last date of receipt of application
• Contract: Initial 3 years, extendable by 2 years

Educational and Other Qualifications: Essential Qualification:

1. Post Graduate Degree in Medicine or Surgery or Public Health and/or any of their branches.
2. A minimum of twenty years of standing in the medical profession.
3. At least 10 years of teaching experience at the Postgraduate level in a Faculty position after Post Graduation.
4. A minimum of 5 years of experience as Prof. & Head/Professor/Director/Dean of a Medical College or its equivalent.

Desirable qualifications:

• Experience in Medical Education Technology.
• Proficiency in modern evaluation techniques, including the generation of MCQs and MEQs and the analysis of candidates' performance, etc.

• Applicants working in Central Government/State Government/Autonomous institutions should forward their applications with all enclosures through the proper channel.
• Vigilance Clearance and APARs for the last 5 years, duly attested by the employer, should accompany the application.
• The incumbent shall be entitled to Pay and allowances as per Central Govt. officials of equivalent rank/level.
• Medical facilities for self and dependents as per NBEMS guidelines.
• NBEMS reserves the right to alter/delete/modify or amend any or all of the above criteria.
• Applications found deficient in terms of documents & not received through proper channels as of the last date of receipt of the application will be summarily rejected.
• The decision of NBEMS shall be final and binding in all respects.
• No interim correspondence will be entertained.

Remuneration and Benefits:

• The Executive Director-NBEMS is entitled to Pay and allowances of Level-14 of the Pay Matrix, applicable to Central Government employees.
• Medical reimbursement as per NBEMS Medical Rules.
• Residential accommodation provided at NBEMS Residential Complex in Kidwai Nagar, as per entitlement.
• Main Office located at PSP Area, Sector-9, Dwarka, New Delhi-110075.
