Dear Job Seekers,

We are pleased to announce the results of the Written Test for the posts of Assistant Professor(s) in the disciplines of Mathematics, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Electrical Engineering at GCET in the Higher Education Department. This notification is in pursuance of Rule 45 of J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examinations) Rules, 2022, and Rule 31 of J&K Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 2021.

The Written Test for these positions was conducted on 22.10.2023, and we are delighted to inform you that the candidates listed in Annexure-A, B, C, and D to this notification have successfully qualified for the Oral Test/Viva Voce.

The Interview/Viva-Voce process will commence from 14.11.2023 at the J&K Public Service Commission, Solina, Srinagar. However, please note that the discipline-wise Interview/Viva-Voce schedule will be notified separately.

To check the results, candidates are advised to visit the official website of the Commission at http://www.jkpsc.nic.in.
The candidature of candidates mentioned in the Annexures to this notification is provisional. The verification of candidates' documents will take place during the interview process. In case any discrepancies related to age, qualifications, experience, or other eligibility conditions are noticed during the interview or thereafter, the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the interview, or if they have already appeared, their candidature will be canceled ab-initio.
Only eligible candidates who possess the requisite qualifications prescribed under the rules will be allowed to appear in the Oral Test/Viva-Voce, provided they are within the prescribed age limit on the cut-off date.
Candidates are required to produce their original certificates/testimonials on the date of the Oral Test/Viva-Voce. Please ensure that you have all the necessary documentation in order.
