Position: Technical Manpower (YP-I) Number of Positions: 01

Essential Qualification:

• Graduate in Agriculture

Desirable Qualification:

• M.Sc. (Ag.) in Agronomy
• Research/Field experience in Agronomy, preferably with expertise in crop management practices, data survey, laboratory work, and data compilation
• Proficiency in computer handling
• Well-versed with experimentation in agriculture

Emoluments per Month: Rs. 25,000/- (Consolidated)

Job Description: As a Technical Manpower (YP-I) at SKUAST-J, your responsibilities will include:

• Survey, training, and experimentation on farmers' fields
• Sampling and analysis of plants & soil
• Data recording and compiling
• Feeding of data into Excel sheets
• Operating in the Udhampur district

Terms & Conditions:

• This position is purely temporary and on a contractual basis, initially filled up to 2023-24 & 2024-25 (i.e., during the year of implementation and the subsequent year).
• The appointee can be terminated by the University/PI in case of unsatisfactory work and a shortage of funds at any time.
• The appointee shall have no legal claim for regular adjustment/absorption in SKUAST-J.
• In the event of relinquishing the job, the appointee must provide one month's prior notice.
