Counselling and Placement Cell at Sher-e-Kashmir University: Providing Career Guidance and Recruitment Opportunities for Students

The Counselling and Placement Cell at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu, under the guidance of Prof. Sanjay Galeria, the Vice-Chancellor, is dedicated to providing career guidance and placement services to students of the university.

One of the primary functions of the Cell is to provide information and assistance to students regarding job opportunities and internships in their respective fields of study. The Cell is constantly in touch with various industries and organizations to keep students updated on the latest job openings and career trends. The Cell also helps students to prepare for interviews and other recruitment processes by organizing mock interviews and group discussions.

In addition to career guidance, the Cell also facilitates the recruitment of students by inviting companies and organizations for campus recruitment drives. The Cell coordinates with the concerned departments and faculty members to ensure that the recruitment process is conducted smoothly and efficiently.

As part of its efforts to promote employment opportunities for its students, the Cell has issued a recruitment notice for the post of CEO in three FPOs located at Kathua, Samba, and Paunichak. Interested candidates with a minimum qualification of a Graduate degree in agriculture and allied sectors are encouraged to submit their CVs by email to placementcellskuasti@gmalcom on or before 14.04.2023. The candidates should mention "CV for the post of CEO in FPOs" in the subject line of the email. The salary offered for the position is Rs. 25000 p.m.
