Vacancies and Reservation :

Point Information
1 Approx. 7,500 vacancies. Firm vacancies to be determined later. Updated vacancies, post-wise & category-wise, will be available on the SSC website. State-wise/Zone-wise vacancies not collected by SSC.
2 Reservation for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, ESM, and PwBD candidates will be as determined by the Indenting Ministries/Departments/Offices/Cadres.
3 ESM vacancies are reserved only for Group "C" posts.
4 The Commission will consider suitability of posts for various benchmark disabilities under the RPwD Act, 2016, as per notification issued by Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities or as intimated by Indenting Departments/Organizations.
5 The Commission selects candidates based on vacancies reported by Indenting Departments/Organizations. Indenting Departments/Organizations are responsible for implementing reservation policy, maintaining reservation roster, earmarking vacancies for different categories, and identifying suitability of posts for various benchmark disabilities.

Offer of Appointment Offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him/her by the Government of India

During the period of probation direct recruits shall have to qualify the “Subordinate Audit/ Accounts Service Examination” in respective branches for confirmation and regular appointment as Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer.
Junior Statistical Officer Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level; Or Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level. N/A
