SSC Stenographer Grade 'C' & 'D' Examination, 2023

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites applications from eligible candidates for the Stenographer Grade 'C' and Grade 'D' Examination, 2023. This examination will facilitate direct recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade 'C' (Group 'B', Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade 'D' (Group 'C') in various Ministries, Departments, Organizations, including their Attached Offices, Subordinate Offices, and Statutory Bodies of the Government of India, located in different States and Union Territories. Only candidates possessing stenography skills are eligible to apply for this examination.

Application Procedure:

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for the Stenographer Grade 'C' & 'D' Examination, 2023. The application process will be active from 2nd August 2023 to 23rd August 2023. Candidates are advised to complete the application process well before the closing date and time to avoid any last-minute technical issues.

 

Nationality/Citizenship :

Nationality/Citizenship Eligibility Criteria
(a) Citizen of India A candidate must be a citizen of India.
(b) Subject of Nepal A candidate must be a subject of Nepal.
(c) Subject of Bhutan A candidate must be a subject of Bhutan.
(d) Person of Indian origin who has migrated from specified countries A candidate must be a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
  Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d), and (e) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
  A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination, but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.

Educational Qualifications :
